Workplace Training and Staff Development

Our mission is to enhance people’s skills by addressing skills deficiencies in the workplace. This will either assist people into employment or further develop existing career paths.

The civil construction industry has changed dramatically over the recent years and workers need to up-skill constantly to be able to work safely, remain employable and be productive.  This can be achieved by using the skills and knowledge obtained by successfully completing a Civil Construction qualification and or other industry recognised training programs.

Competency-based training focuses on providing training that enables competence to be demonstrated in the workplace.  This kind of ‘hand-on’ training matches training and vocational qualifications with the needs of both industry and employees.  A participant is considered competent when he/she can perform the duties within an occupation to the standard expected by the industry and legislative bodies.
